Eita, que alegria! Depois de quase 14 anos trabalhando nesta Bíblia, ela vai ser lançada novamente, desta vez num lugar mais do que especial para mim: o Quiririm!
Quiririm é um pedacinho da Itália no Brasil. Explicando: em 1889, um grupo de italianos fundou uma colônia chamada "Quiririm". Desde então, este pequeno distrito de Taubaté, estado de São Paulo (Brasil), vêm se despontando como um lugar turístico, buscando a preservação e divulgação da cultura dos imigrantes italianos no Brasil.
E foi nesse lugar tão especial que eu cresci. Meu bisavô, Giuseppe Pistilli, e minha bisavó, Gaetana Valerio, vieram da Itália, conheceram-se no Quiririm e ali formaram a família Pistilli.
Pois é neste lugar que, no dia 21 de dezembro de 2023, a partir das 16:00 (até umas 21:00), estarei para fazer o lançamento de mais um livro que escrevi e ilustrei: a "Incrível Bíblia", da Editora Thomas Nelson Brasil. O evento será no maravilhoso Museu da Imigração Italiana de Quiririm.
Venham prestigiar, conversar, escutar sobre o processo de criação deste livro, comer um "ciadunne" (pastelão italiano assado) e, se quiser, adquirir o livro autografado por mim, lá na hora!

Wow, what a joy! After almost 14 years of working on this Bible, it will be released again, this time in a more than special place to me: Quiririm!
Quiririm is a little piece of Italy in Brazil. Explaining: in 1889, a group of Italians founded a colony called "Quiririm." Since then, this small district of Taubaté, state of São Paulo (Brazil), has emerged as a tourist place, seeking to preserve and disseminate the culture of Italian immigrants in Brazil.
And it was in this special place that I grew up. My great-grandfather, Giuseppe Pistilli, and my great-grandmother, Gaetana Valerio, came from Italy, met in Quiririm, and formed the Pistilli family there.
In this place, on December 21, 2023, from 4:00 pm (until around 9:00 pm), I will launch another book I wrote and illustrated: "The Amazing Bible" by Editora Thomas Nelson Brazil. The event will be at the wonderful Italian Immigration Museum in Quiririm.
